Czech A2 Mock Exam — Full Online Practice Test

A mock exam is the closest possible simulation of the real Czech A2 language exam for permanent residence. CzechReady runs full mock exams online in the official UJOP format: same task types, same number of questions, same time limits. You sit the whole exam in one session and get a score per section, just like the real test.

What's inside the mock exam

The mock exam covers all four sections back to back: Reading (5 tasks, 20 questions, 50 minutes), Listening (5 tasks, 20 questions, ~35 minutes), Writing (2 tasks, ~30 minutes), and Speaking (3 stages, ~10 minutes). Reading and Listening are scored automatically; Writing and Speaking are evaluated by AI calibrated against the official A2 marking criteria.

Each section has its own timer that counts down on screen. You cannot pause the timer mid-section — that mirrors the real exam.

How a mock exam differs from single-section practice

Practising one section at a time is great for fixing weak spots. But the real Czech A2 exam tests endurance and focus across two hours of writing-section work plus a separate Speaking slot. A mock exam exposes the issues you only feel under full conditions: time pressure on Writing, fatigue during the second half of Listening, hesitation on Speaking when the examiner moves to a new topic.

How to use the mock exam to actually pass

Take your first mock exam early in your preparation, even if you feel unready — the score per section tells you exactly where to focus. Then practise weak sections daily. Two weeks before your real exam date, take another full mock under realistic conditions: quiet room, no breaks, no phone. Compare the two scores. If any section is below 60%, that's where final practice has to go.

About 2 hours for the written sections (Reading, Listening, Writing) plus 10–15 minutes for Speaking. You can split Speaking from the rest if needed.
